Global Rights first began working in Africa in 1995 when we opened an office in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Since then, we have expanded to Algeria, Burundi, Morocco, Uganda, Nigeria, and Tunisia, where we run extensive access to justice and women’s rights programming. Our Natural Resources and Human Rights Initiative operates in the DRC, the Republic of Congo, and the Republic of Guinea.
